Three Cheers For S. T. E. V. E. !!! for helping to put together, then taking over leading this awesome annual event! I for one had an awesome time. meeting some new awesome friends, eating some awesome food. If someone asked me to describe the expreince in one word, I would have to describe it as " Awesome!"
I made the trip for exactly 100 dollars. Spent my last one buying frest hot tortillias at the boarder. Yum. but next time I'm going to remember to keep some honey and sugar in the car for the tortillias.
Which I think the internationals relized where some securty breaches may be detected, as we drove right up to the boarder security. the officer looked in the vehicle and asked our country of origin, and I promplty and proudly replied "The United States!" to which he waved us through. The germans were flabergasted.
The new campsite worked out preaty well, but I was serriously disappointed in the Sammy's Beach house dance club (formally known as Pithyous, aka "the Pit") which was located right next to our campsite. It was deader that a mortuary.
For those of you whom have been to Rocky point in years past, Things have definatly changed. A lot of improvements and big dreams are going on. Some for the better, some for the worse. you decide.
All in all though, I got my fill of dancing, drinking, camping, but not smooching.
Rocky point,High lights for me!
Sleeping under the stars,
sleeping at the beach,
sleeping at sunset in my car,
sleeping on the ride home,
Staying awake all night dancing, laughing, talking, making new friends!!
Being the first to dare to ride the Mechanical Bull!, and getting serriousely thrown off!
Wittnessing the new dance move (innovated by Jim) "stepping in a pile of doggie Doo."
Eating about 30 toco's (of varriouse meats)
Head butting Rabea in the face, breaking her back tooth (not on porpose, but while on the banana boat ride) (I don't head butt untill the third date) ha ha just kidding gang....
Not driving my car there! Oh wait, yes I did. bummer
Not catching a STD!!!!!
