Awesome! I'll go ahead and try to make an announcement at the meeting on Tuesday night and we'll plan on meeting at Lorenzo's. Depending on how many people, we should definately be able to enter a couple of teams.
Oh and, to the person training for the marathon, who are you training with? I joined Team in Training to train for the P.F. Changs marathon in January, but I don't have time to do the group runs!! Haha - I'm trying to train as well, so maybe we can talk about that too on Tuesday!! See y'all then

I'm training with the Bandidos on Tue and Thu nights. The Tue workouts are at Saguaro High School on Hayden, and the Thu nights are on 44th st at the canal. I actually am having difficulties making the Thu workout since it's complicated getting there on the bus. We should definitely talk on Tue night and see if we can meet for a workout once a week...maybe even long runs!
See you then!

Hi Leilah! Didn't see you at Lorenzo's last night?!? Are you going to make a second attempt at a meeting for those interested? I'm really keen on doing this!

Hey!
So sorry I didn't make it to Lorenzo's last night - I underestimated the amount of material I needed to still cover for my Biology exam today! Lol. I'd still love to meet up with anyone interested. Anyone have any ideas as to when and where?
Thanks!

I guess Ashley has the hook-up with connections... knows the guy running the event, plus can get us 15% (?) discounts or something... I told her to post the details about it. Would another Lorenzo's after a meeting thing work? You up for that Natalie? Or just some random time.

Sure. Lorenzo's it is...next Tuesday? I'm out of town the following week. Should be there around 9-9:30. How was that new running club last night? I went to Performance for a run...scary running trough Papago in the dark though!

Yeah, Lorenzo's next Tuesday should work. How can I find you guys? Sounds like you know each other, but I have no idea who to look out for! Lol. I've actually never been to Lorenzo's, so if anyone is at the meeting, could we meet there before we head to Lorenzo's so I don't get lost? haha

It's super easy to get there...corner of myrtle and university... 2min walk from College St. We're usually sitting on the front patio. Can't miss 20 or so people sitting together! See you there!

I'm always up front at the meetings being an officer and stuff, the guy with longish black hair. I usually walk/skate to Lorenzo's, so I can show you the way if you want.
The running group was non-existant, or hiding somewhere. The only people to show were me and another guy I told about it. And the Papago Tunnel especially at night sucks hehe... serious ankle twisting potential. I ended up going to the Cycling/Triathlon club meeting, and running after that. If you want to get put on the listserv for the cycling club, email Ashley (ashley.robota@asu.edu) and ask to be added. Then you can get info on when we ride and stuff.

Still alive Leilah? We should probably finish organizing everything on here for convenience... Maybe set up some times to train and get the teams set.

Hey Gang, The adventure race that I think your talking about is in December in Anthem, either the 9th or 10th right? It's run by DCB Racing, which is also the company working with the ASU Cycling and Triathlon Club for discounted races due to volunteer work. (If your on the ASUCTC, talk to me about the details) Anyways at a recent Splash and Dash race at Tempe Town Lake (also held by DCB) I worked alongside the guy who is actually setting up the course. He said it should be about a little over an hour course, mountain biking, kayaking, and navigation with maps (no super compass reading type stuff). He said it should be a blast and lots of fun, great course for beginners. I haven't had much time to research online about the event, but I just wanted to check in and let you know that I'm still interested. However the Anthem triathlon (also run by DCB) is the day before and I might be racing that, so we'll see but I'll try to pull off double racing Ashley

Hey guys, Sorry it's been a little while...busy busy. Yeah, I definately think we should get going on teams and training. As far as I remember, the prices raise if we don't sign up by the beginning of November so we should really get cookin. When should we start putting it all together?
