What: Silent Sunday
Where: South Mountain
When and where to meet: That depends on what you intend to do there. Check out the next several entries which all revolve around this event. (It officially goes from 5am-11pm on Oct. 22)
Other info: This is an event designed by the park rangers so that people can enjoy South Mountain without having to worry about traffic and noise pollution. What: Silent Sunday Extreme Bike Ride
Where: Campus to the top of South Mountain and back
When and where to meet: 6:00 am, Sunday, October 22nd @ the McDonald's on Rural and Lemon.
Cost of trip: FREE

What to bring: A bike, water, helmet, snacks, etc.
Other info: This ride is approximately 40 miles. It's pretty flat until you get to South Mountain itself, then you go up for a ways. The ride down is tons of fun though and definitely makes it worth the trip up. Talk to Josh if you want to go so he knows who to expect!

Other info: This ride will meet up with Josh and his Extreme Crew for a ride up South Mountain and back down it. Don't worry, you're not a weenie. There's still a pretty big hill in it for you.

When and where to meet: Sunday, October 22nd, but you'll have to work out the when and where with the company providing the horses.

Other info: This event is organized by Ponderosa Stables. If you're interested, you can call Neil for info, but if you want to sign up you'll have to talk to Ponderosa. They will be accepting payments and filling you in on the specifics. Call 'em at 602.268.1261. There are two rides: one starting at 8:00am and one at 10:00am. Each lasts for about an hour and a half.
