Super hiking/camping trip -- dont miss it!
Zion National Park Trip Hike: Angels landing – 5 miles, approx. 4 hours Round-trip. * Severe cliff exposure. Not suitable for people with an unmanageable fear of heights. However, this will cure you if it doesn’t kill you. =) * Physically and mentally demanding, come prepared.
Length of trip: October 13th Friday @ 11:30 am- October 15th Sunday @ 8:00 am
Weather: In Flagstaff – 50/30 – 40% of rain In Zion – 70/50 – 20% of rain
Costs: Park entrance fee, gas, tent rental Total: $30.00/ person * The first people to pay are guaranteed a spot… max 15 people
Itinerary: Friday Meet at McDonalds @ 11:30am Drive to Flagstaff Shop/Eat Arrive at Camp in Flagstaff @ 6:00pm Drink, party, eat, snuggle in tents Saturday Wake-up call at 7:30am Leave @ 9:00am Drive to Zion Lunch Enter Zion @ 3:30pm ***Sunset on Angels Landing @ 7pm – Start hike @ 4:30pm at the latest*** Leave Zion @ 10:30pm Eat dinner in Springdale Leave by 12:00am Sunday Drive back to Tempe Arrive in Tempe @ 8:00 am
What to bring: Flashlight, sleeping bag, camelback, layered clothing, rain gear, hiking shoes, money for food, camera, happy thoughts.

That trail kicks ass! You can see forever from up there... not to mention the thin trail next to a 1000' drop ;D I can't make it (hiking the grand canyon) but I'll definitely throw in a recommendation.
