Here are the road rally directions as promised...
Take SR 87 north towards Payson. From Payson, continue on 87 another 60 miles towards Winslow to mile marker ~313.5 (look for the AOC signs on the left side). Turn left on this dirt road. Close the gate behind you. Then continue down the dirt road (low clearance), stay left at the first big fork in the road, and then just follow the main path through a couple curves until it ends at a camping area 1.2 miles from the gate. Again look for an AOC sign to find our campsite.
Weather: 80 deg F and sunny during the day, 45-50 deg F and clear at night. Remember a jacket!
