I'm super bummed that I have to work during the cliff jumping trip on Sunday, so I'm leading my own watery fun trip on Saturday.I hear that tubing on the Salt River is a good (though hot and sunny) time, and I'd like to try it before school starts. Therefore, I'm leading a trip there this Saturday (8/19). We will meet @ the McDonald's on Rural and Lemon @ 9:30 am, then carpool to the launch site. The cost is $13 for tube rental and car shuttle, though I hear that Taco Bell has $3-off coupons and I will try to snatch a handful of them. The following is a list of items you'll want to try to bring:Swimsuit/trunks Sunscreen!!! Sunglasses Hat? Shirt? Shorts? Cold Beverages (NO GLASS BOTTLES ALLOWED) A cooler if you have one A packable lunch $13 ($10 with coupon) An old sheet (optional-- recommended by web site for covering your tube) Water Water shoes, tennis shoes, or protective sandalsWe should be back between 2 and 4 depending upon how efficient we are. Visit the website (www.saltrivertubing.com) for more info, and/or call moi @ 480.277.7945Jackie
