Anyone up for a one day rim to rim to rim in the spring sometime? This will be an intense day probably involving fast hiking, light packs and a bit of running.

rim 2 rim 2 rim is a LONG LONG LOOOOONNNNG trip. it is 21.5 miles ONE WAY (43-44 miles round trip). i did it over a 3 day period with full backpack. there is an ironman that does it in 18 hours or so. a good one day trip is a rim 2 rim. get two groups and exchange car keys at the bottom. www.nps.gov/grca/backcountry/corridor_hikes.htm

I would be. That sounds fun. Not sure if I'm fit enough, but I would do it anyway. It's my last semester in the spring!
Preferablly sometime early so we don't run into midterms and finals mess.
