SPRING BREAK March 14-17- Canoe hotsprings / Vegas

Trip departs Tuesday Mar. 14 and return Mar. 17. This would be a good trip for those that wish to go to Rocky Point or California for a few days and wish to join us the morning of March 15 at Hoover Dam.

Note that this trip could be shortened if drivers wish to return early.

Who: Anyone that wants to canoe the Colorado river below Hoover dam.

What: This is a flat water excursion. Usually takes only 2-3 days out of your vacation (for those that work/study).

In the past we drove to Lake Mead and camped overnight. Got up early and canoed and camped on the river the next day then canoed until the afternoon the 2nd day. Then some went home and some went on to Vegas (this year we will be at the Sahara) for a night on the town (under 21 is welcome but no slots for you !).

Black Canyon has multiple hot springs to explore with birds and big horn sheep.

Cost is $100 - $150
Canoe ~55

Hotel ~10
Food ~ 20-50 - those dang buffets!!!
Vegas ~ SKIES THE LIMIT - It's Vegas Baby!!!

The basics are already listed above. The details I will go over with you at the meeting or when you sign up. The first to give me their deposits get first shot.

The permit and canoe is ~$60 so that will be the deposit.

Total price I am asking will be $100. This is everything less food. (I don't make any money on this - all money goes to the trip, room, gas, etc.)
