Yeah, don't try to buy drugs. That's how my friends and I got arrested last year. Also don't follow any of the locals into their neighborhood or whatever.
If you do get arrested, ask to pay them for the ride back to your hotel. They get the idea, and if you don't have money ask them to take you to the ATM to get money lol.
